Discover valuable resources that can provide support to parents

It’s also important as parents not to lose sight of yourselves. Here you will find ideas and exercises that can help relief stress and give you the strength you need for everyday life.

Exercises for greater calm and gratitude

Sometimes, small routines can help reduce stress and make everyday life feel more intentional. In the Baby Comfort Guide-app, you will find two guided exercises that can support you with this.

Mindful breathing

Your breathing has a direct impact on your nervous system. Breathing exercises can help reduce stress and promote a sense of calm.

Breathing exercise 4-7-11:
Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds. For 11 minutes.

Box breathing exercise:
Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds. For 3 to 5 minutes.

5-Finger breathing exercise:
Breathe slowly along your fingers: inhale as you trace upward, and exhale as you trace downward.

Gratitude

The ability to be grateful can help us become more resilient to negative emotions and stress.

Regularly write down three things you felt grateful for today. With the gratitude cards, you can save positive moments, look back at them, and remind yourself of them at any time.

In this way, you strengthen your well-being and focus on the good things in life.

The full instructions and interactive features (e.g. creating gratitude cards or using visually guided breathing exercises) are available in the app. Download the app for free and integrate these exercises into your everyday life!
