Exercises for greater calm and gratitude

Sometimes, small routines can help reduce stress and make everyday life feel more intentional. In the Baby Comfort Guide app, you will find two guided exercises that can support you with this.

Breathing exercise 4-7-11

The breathing exercise “4-7-11” is easy to remember. The exercise helps you to calm down. Therefore, please sit or lie down in a relaxed position. Breathe in for 4 seconds and out for 7 seconds. Repeat this at least 11 times. Make sure you breathe deeply into your stomach. You can look at the circle for orientation: Breathe in when the circle gets bigger – and breath out when it gets smaller.

Gratitude

The ability to be grateful can help us become more resilient to negative emotions and stress. Regularly write down three things you felt grateful for today. With the gratitude cards, you can save positive moments, look back at them, and remind yourself of them at any time. In this way, you strengthen your well-being and focus on the good things in life.
